Are you a licensed professional or nursing student looking to get into aesthetics? A Shadowship is the best way to fill the void between being certified and finding a job in aesthetics. Our Shadowship program allows you to closely observe treatments like Botox and Dermal Filler injections as well as view a comprehensive consultation process and truly learn what it takes to become a successful nurse injector. With 1-on-1 shadowing, you can behold the most modern injecting techniques on real clients and learn industry tips. Included with the Shadowship is an overall glimpse into the business and administrative side of a successful practice. Amanda Ralph

Amanda is the medical director, nurse practitioner, and owner of White Coat Aesthetics. She is also a lead instructor of the comprehensive injectables course at the National Institute of Medical Aesthetics (NIMA). Amanda has been actively injecting for over 6 years and has built a clientele of over 2,500+. Aside from managing a successful medspa, she has accumulated over 200 5-star reviews on Google, Yelp, and the company's website.
She has extensive experience using industry-leading products such as Botox®, Dysport®, Sculptra®, Kybella®, Juvederm® filler, Restylane® fillers, and Revanesse® fillers.

Learn to deliver a high standard of care while maintaining patient satisfaction. One of the highlights of being in a shadow program is observing the ways the client and cosmetic injector interact. The experience will give you insight into the following:

The most common aging concerns
How to establish rapport and earn a client’s trust and confidence
How to professionally handle different types of patients
How to develop a personalized cosmetic treatment plan for each patient
How to manage patient expectations and educate about the limitations of specific treatments
Give you a chance to ask questions. Come prepared with lots of questions or just ask as we go along. You will have time before and after the day of clients to ask questions about the profession, certification courses, cosmetic treatments that are trending, client selection, and anything else you want to know.
